Kindergarten Here I Come!

Richard and I just can't believe that today was Devon's very first day of Kindergarten. He was so excited to meet his teacher, Mrs. Warzyn and to ride the "big kid" bus.


You can't tell, but his backpack is BumbleBee (Transformers) and he loves it!

Meeting the Great-Grands

This summer, we had the opportunity to travel to Idaho Falls and celebrate my grandma's 90th birthday (Dev was with his biomom). It was the very first time that Aiden met his great grandparents. The moment was bittersweet for me because I know the time is soon coming that my grandparents won't be here any longer. We also got to visit my grandparents now-vacant home. I am so grateful that we got to take Aiden there, even if he will not remember it. We got a couple of pictures of Aiden with his Great-Grands and all of us at the old homestead:
